Jennie is a partner in the Tax Department at MMWR, where her practice includes a wide range of tax issues, with special focus on tax-exempt organizations. She taught for five years in Temple University Law School's master's in taxation program and for four years in Drexel University's master's program in arts administration. Jennie has been active in the Philadelphia arts community, and is a past president of Philomel Orchestra, the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the Philadelphia Cultural Fund. She currently serves on the boards of Wilkes University, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Leeway Foundation, and on the Philadelphia advisory board of the Nonprofit Finance Fund. She is a frequent lecturer on issues for tax-exempt organizations. Jennie received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from Columbia University. While at Columbia she was editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems and received the E. B. Convers Prize for legal writing. Following graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Max Rosenn of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
