Evelyn Salcedo

Evelyn is a native of Queens, New York. She studied audio/video production and African American studies at Temple University. Prior to Leeway she worked at The Studio as an assistant engineer, as an administrative assistant for Coolhunter Management, and as production manager for indie musical acts Jazzyfatnastees, Nouveau Riche, and Killer Cass. Evelyn interned with Little Giant Media and legendary hip hop band The Roots. She also served as a stage manager/producer for the Black Lily: Women in Music Series and on the board of the Black Lily Film & Music Festival. An aspiring writer, Evelyn recently started a feminist book club called Womyn Who Read Are Dangerous in spring 2009.
