Born and Raised in Los Angeles, California, Nkechi is a multimedia artist and the first Artist in Residence at The Colored Girls Museum. Nkechi is a recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College whose passion for reading and storytelling pushed her to obtain a degree in English Literature. While at Bryn Mawr, Nkechi created and directed The Faculty Diversity Initiative, the College’s first professional development component tackling diversity related classroom conflicts.
