2018 Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference Now Accepting Workshop Proposals

Mazzoni Center is pleased to announce it is now accepting workshop proposals for the 2018 Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference (PTWC) scheduled for August 2 – 4.

The planning committee is seeking submissions for:

General Track offers programming in the following areas: Transfeminine/Transfemale/Trans women, Transmasculine/Trans Male/Trans Men, Intersex, beyond the binary, sexuality, faith and spirituality, self-care and wellbeing, People of Color (African American/Black, Asian Pacific Islander, and Latina/o/x), Indigenous and first nations people, international and immigration, disability, aging, family members of transgender people, and family and partners and allies.

All proposals must be submitted by February 14, 2018 11:59 pm (EST)

Professional Track is a two-day continuing education program to enhance clinical knowledge and cultural competence for professionals working with trans and gender non-conforming people. Medical, behavioral health, legal, and education professionals can earn CEUs pertaining to their licenses.
