Bop and Cha Cha with Melissa Talley-Palmer

Melissa Talley-Palmer (ACG '15) will continue to host her series entitled, The Let’s Dance project which will consist of Bop and Cha Cha dance instruction and story circle time. The project supports preserving the history and culture of our dances in the community related to the music and dance movements in the 1950’s. There is a community of people who have been doing these dances for over 50 years and continue to dance today. They want to hear and document the stories. Learn more by participating in the Let’s Dance project developed by Melissa Talley Palmer in collaboration with North 5th Street CDC and hosted by Greater Olney Library (5501 N 5th St.) with funding from Leeway Foundation’s Art For Change Grant. Classes are free and open to all ages.
