Flamenco Workshops with Carmen Ledesma

Pasion y Arte Flamenco presents three workshops with Carmen Ledesma. Student of Enrique “El Cojo”, Carmen Ledesma started her artistic career at age 4 winning the Galas Juvenniles award. In 1983, she won first prize of “Juana La Macarrona” in The National Contest of Cordoba. Her artistic career has been marked by collaborations with indisputable talents from the flamenco world such as: Camaron de la Isla, Puerto Pansequito or El Lebrijano, among others. She worked for 3 years with Jose Menese in a show directed by Joan Alberto Amargos, performing at Flamenco Biennial of Seville and the Royal Theater in Madrid. She continues her career with her own show “Five Voices”. She is the female representative of the most traditional Triana dance. All workshops will be held at 954 Dance Movement Collective (954 N. 8th Street). *All Classes are $30 each. Advanced registration necessary.
