Works by Kay Healy (ACG '08) and Shelley Spector (ACG '12) were highlighted in a review by the Surface Design Journal of the 9th International Fiber Biennial at Snyder-Works Galleries that took place this Spring 2014.
Kay Healy's flattened, life-size work, Dining Room, was acknowledged as being the largest piece in the show, "Made with an exciting mixture of screen printing, applique, and quilting, it is only a section of a much greater installation that includes kitchen, bathroom, and living room- all with 'snap-on' appliances and furniture."
"In another gallery, Shelley Spector installed Dreck Groove Series made of reclaimed materials including fabric, thread, and wood."
