The Taino Cultural Workshop in collaboration with the Caribbean Community in Philadelphia will host a film screening of Even the Rain (También la lluvia) on June 3. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Priscilla Anacakuyani (ACG '17) on how colonialism affected the peoples of the Caribbean during the time of contact, Indigenous survival, and what effects are still felt today in the Caribbean and the rest of the Americas. Fleisher Art Memorial presents Building Community Art Spaces Panel Discussion at El Corazón Cultural Center, Taller Puertorriqueño on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
