Winifred Collier Bolkus

Winifred's art for social change project is a children's book entitled, We Are Able 2 Reach Success, the first in a series illustrating that children with physical and mental disabilities can reach their goals in education, independent living, or recreational activities. Winifred will use a main character that has one hand encouraging readers to "leap" to success and never stop trying and also encourage able-bodied persons to think positively about people with disabilities.
