Ben Singer

Ben will produce a digital oral history about the late Roberta Morris, a trans-identified Philadelphia-based painter, which will serve as the launching point for a larger project, the “Philadelphia Trans-history Digital Storytelling Project”. Ben’s goal is to document trans-specific histories of Philadelphia that have been or are close to being lost. Ben hopes to eventually dissolve negative social attitudes toward trans-identified and gender non-confirming people by making visible trans-specific lives and events.
