2014 Art and Change Grant – $2,500

Jennifer will compose a feature-length screenplay about caregivers for loved ones battling Alzheimer’s Disease. Revolving around the story of a musician who loses his ability to complete daily tasks while still retaining his ability to play music, the film will resist assumptions and stereotypes made about individuals with disabilities. Jennifer’s intent is to build a sense of community for caregivers in America as well as raise awareness, tolerance, and understanding for those living with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
