Bread & Roses Announces Gender Justice Fund

Grassroots organizers are working fervently to address gender justice issues including reproductive justice, gender-based violence, worker’s rights, mass incarceration and police violence, and equal access to healthcare, education, and affordable housing. The Gender Justice Fund will make $10,000 grants to support this work and advance justice for women, girls, transgender, and gender non-conforming people in the Philadelphia region. [learn more]

The Till Arts Project is Seeking Trans Artists of Color for their Emergence Program

The Till Arts Project, in partnership with the 40th Street AIR Program, is extending an invitation to emerging trans artists of color in Philadelphia for the Emergence Program. As part of the program, artists are offered a month-long solo exhibition, full curatorial support, a stipend to give a workshop, a monthly transpass, career counseling, and access to other resources. This event is being organized by an amazing group of women in reentry who are participating in the spring advocacy program at the People's Paper Co-op. Project HOME Seeks Teaching Artist

Project HOME Art Program is growing and in need to hire a narrative based visual teaching artist who would be available for a six month, eight hour a week, $25 an hour opportunity to facilitate two classes and mentor two Project HOME Resident Artists in their journey to becoming Teaching Artists.
