Discovering Hidden Print Collections: Brandywine

Brandywine Workshop and Archives will host an exploration of prints produced in the Visiting Artists Residency program. Participants will look at prints from the past, learn how they were made, and learn how they are relevant to us today. The history of printmaking will come to life as we discover up close how artists used print processes like lithography, screen printing, and etching to make art and communicate ideas.

For the past 40 years, Brandywine Workshop has been a leader in the development of offset lithography as a fine art. The workshop remains committed to the creation, documentation and preservation of a legacy of culturally diverse American art and insuring the participation of multi-ethnic artists and audiences in the field of fine art printmaking and related media technologies.

This tour will meet at Brandywine Workshop728 South Broad Street Philadelphia, PA. 19146
