On February 5, an article featuring an interview with Gloria Kingcade (LTA '18) was published on the online version of the Philadelphia Inquirer, highlighting Kingcade's longstanding tenure as a soul line dance teacher. For over 20 years, Kingcade has been teaching line dances popular within African American communities, both locally and outside of the city. In the article, Kingcade quotes one of her favorite pieces of inspiration:
"I truly believe in the Zimbabwean Proverb: 'If you can walk, you can dance; if you can talk, you can sing.' "
