J.C. Todd Awarded Two Residencies

J.C. Todd (WOO '03, IA '01) has been awarded two residencies this fall. She will be a Fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) in Amherst, VA, and at the Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap, GA. At VCCA, she will collaborate with visual artist and printmaker MaryAnn L. Miller on a limited edition artist book based on one of Todd’s poems. The concept was developed this past summer during Todd’s residency at the Experimental Printmaking Institute at Lafayette College. It will be published by Lucida Press in March of 2016.  At The Hambidge Center, Todd will write on foot, in plein air, drafting a group of poems in which the confluence of sensibility and setting transforms perception.
