Love Now Media will kick off a series of storytelling events with the theme ‘Love, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness’ on June 11th, to run through June 21st. Each event will be held at a different Philadelphia location. The goal is to bring people together in different neighborhoods to tell their personal, family, and community stories while also promoting love as a human right. Locations include small venues like coffee shops Uncle Bobbie’s and Franny Lou’s Porch; and larger venues like the African American Museum of Philadelphia and the PFS Roxy Theater which has partnered with Love Now Media to feature Ava DuVernay’s latest film acquisition Jewel's Catch One. Other producing partners include PhillyCAM, The Colored Girls Museum, Small But Mighty Arts, Fringe Arts, Philadelphia Women In Film and Television, and WHYY - who will feature Love Now Media’s Founder, Jos Duncan as a storyteller in the finale 11 Days of Love Stories event “Finding Sanctuary: Stories from the Community.”
