Heidi Saman (LTA ’09), Jennifer Kidwell (ACG ’15), Lela Aisha Jones (LTA ’15), Tiona McClodden (LTA ’09, ACG ’07), and Tokay Tomah (LTA ’14, ACG ’14) received 2016 Pew Fellowships for individual artists. In addition, Erin Bernard’s (ACG ’15) Philly History Truck Project and MJ Kaufman’s (ACG ’13) play Destiny Estimate received Pew Project Grants.
The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage is a multidisciplinary grantmaking foundation. Each year, the Center grants twelve Fellowships, providing unrestricted grants to individual artists working in all disciplines, along with Project grants in two areas (Performance and Exhibitions & Public Interpretation) and Advancement grants awarded to cultural institutions.
