POSITION: Office Manager

MING Media is seeking an Office Manager to assist in the maintenance, organization and coordination of office procedures. Office manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication. Specific responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, greeting + hosting studio visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees. Previous experience as a Front office manager or Office administrator would be an advantage. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.

Skills

A successful Office manager should also have experience with a variety of office software email tools, spreadsheets and databases (*Quickbooks is a must!) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

Availability: Approximately 3-4 days/week or 24-32 hours/week

Compensation: $20/hour, up to 32 hours/week

POSITION: Creative Producer

MING Media is seeking an ambitious and proactive Creative Producer who will assist in the development of documentary video projects and work with all phases of production (end to end).

Preferred skills and experience:

• ● Familiarity with documentary and commercial film production process
• ● At least 2-3 years professional experience as a producer, line producer, field producer, or as a Manager etc.
• ● Self-motivated
• ● Strong problem solving skills and proactive
• ● Clear, effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (preferred), Google Drive.
• ● Strong budget management ability
• ● Great attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• ● Familiarity with production equipment, cameras, software, hardware a plus.

Responsibilities:

• ● Take the lead on communications with clients, subjects, host organizations, etc.
• ● Create and maintain budgets + spreadsheets
• ● Communicate, research, and keep track of all legal matters specifically related to film production.
• ● Coordinate logistics for video shoots
• ● Manage timelines for film production and oversee development/production phases to ensure deadlines are met for multiple projects
• ● Assembly of all necessary materials needed for outreach and marketing
