WATCH: Activists Take Back the Street Named After Wilson Goode

In one of the most infamous actions in Philadelphia history, police bombed the home of Black liberationist group MOVE on May 13, 1985 under the direction and leadership of the city's first Black mayor, W. Wilson Goode, Sr.

Written and produced by Maori Karmael Holmes (ACG '16, '06, '05, LTA '06), this short documentary captures the protest of the city's decision to name a street after Goode and the memorial shrine erected to the 11 victims of the bombing.
