awQward Talent Camp Philly: A Weekend of Workshops by Trans & Queer Artists of Color
This 12-hour workshop over the course of two days will make space for artists of all disciplines to strengthen their work through writing. Artists J Mase III (ACG '07), Brooklyn Dreamwolf (YaliniDream & Jendog Lonewolf), Dane Figueroa Edidi, and Regie Cabico will facilitate workshops on performance, hip hop lyricism, writing, and more.
Workshops: Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Leeway Foundation
Participants must be able to attend both sessions.
The workshop is free but space is limited. Register here or by calling our office at 215.545.4078.
We will also offer ASL and childcare by request. Requests must be made by 5pm on Monday, October 23. There will be an option to request when registering.
Join us on Saturday, October 28, 8:00 PM at Asian Arts Initiative (1219 Vine St), for an evening of performances by awQward Talent artists. Open to the public.
This event will be ticketed separately.
