ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

For Speidel’s fourth and final solo show as an artist member of Vox Populi Gallery, they are counting the minutes. Scissor-cut snowflakes, windowpane quilt-tops, and rag-rug streetlights under a long banner of short poems, pencils, puzzles, and worksheets to work on while you wait.

To wait to be well is well worth the wait.

This exhibition is supported by many community events:

While You Wait - A Day of Workshops:  3/14, 12-6pm.

Saggy Performance with Jim Strong & Guests: 4/3, 8pm.

Princess Performance w/ China Rain & Russle Thayer: 4/10, 1pm.

Read Aloud organized w/ Eve Greensweig: 4/18, 12pm.

The artist was able to install and exhibit this show by giving a smaller piece to many, to hold and assemble together.

Contributors include: Kim Altomare, Russle Thayer, Ariadne Brazo, Jim Strong, Catia Colagioia, China Rain, Eve Greensweig, Maia Chao, Omar Speidel, Henrietta Altomare-Speidel, the community of Vox Populi Gallery, all my friends who brought their scissors, and, as always, you
