2022 Art and Change Grant – $2,500

Tamara Suber's project will engage domestic abuse survivors through a series of traveling workshops teaching fiber arts skills, including basic needle felting, loom weaving and building. The goal of the workshops is for participants to learn new skills and begin to create a piece of work that will help heal them through their journey.

The Window of Opportunity (WOO) grant provides financial assistance of up to $1,500 to Leeway grant and award recipients to help them take advantage of imminent, time-sensitive opportunities to support their art for social change practice.
