Description of Workshop:
Grief Gathering Workshop: Emotional Weather — Emoji Self-Portrait as the Weather
Through mindful self-expression, participants will create collaborative postcards and one-page zines to send to youth and artist collaborators in Palestine as gestures of solidarity, remembrance, and resilience.
Participants will create postcards and one-page zines as part of an international correspondence and art exchange between Philadelphia and Palestine. Using stamps, stencils, stickers, and drawing materials, we will explore themes of emotional weather, grief, and resilience through mindful reflection and creative collaboration.
