CJ Weintraub
CJ Weintraub is a junior at Temple University, majoring in event and entertainment management. They have been involved in the community organizing scene since 2020, and have been independently booking concerts since 2022.
CJ has worked with numerous grassroots organizations and nonprofits, including Youth 4 Unity and Bucks Liberation Coalition. They try to incorporate mutual aid for various social justice causes into their local concerts because they believe art is inherently political and that the community must do its part to uplift one another.
CJ has been going to Planned Parenthood Keystone’s Rainbow Room since they were 14, and they are now 21. Throughout the years of being a Rainbow Room youth, volunteer, collaborator, and mentor, they have seen and experienced the countless ways queer spaces save lives and encourage people to find themselves. They strive to share that sense of safety and community with others through the outreach of art and music.
