At the People’s Budget Office, we envision a thriving city, teach Philadelphians how the City Budget works, and provide pathways to advocate for change. Our core programming includes Budget 101 & 201 workshops that break down the budget process and dive deeper into key issues; the People’s Budget Office installation at LOVE Park, a learning space to explore the budget and get involved; Artists-in-Residence who interpret the budget through participatory artworks; and ongoing opportunities for Philadelphians to communicate their funding priorities and their relationship to the city’s budget.
