12Gates Video Art Festival

12Gates Video Art Festival showcases contemporary experimental media inspired by the art of South Asia and the Middle East on Saturday, February 28 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Drexel University's URBN Annex (3401 Filbert St). This is the first of Twelve Gates Arts' annual celebration of experimental film and media. The featured artists are Shehrezad Maher, Shambhavi Kaul, Jennifer Saparzadeh, Nitin Mukul, Mariam Eqbal, Sausan Saulat, Jaret Vadera, Anna Kipervaser, Shumona Goel & Shai Heredia, and Vivek Shraya. The festival was curated and produced by Ayza Akhtar, Sonali Gulati, Bakirathi Mani, Sa'dia Rehman, and Atif Sheikh. Regular admission is $10 and $8 with a student ID.
