ARTnude Philly Call for Submissions

James Oliver Gallery will be hosting this year's ARTnude event on October 18 from 5:00pm - 11:00pm. They are currently accepting submissions to contribute to this year's exhibit: The Body Edited.

ARTnude Philly is seeking artist submissions for its 4th annual show benefitting the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania's Patient Special Needs Fund. This fund allows nurses and social workers to provide financial assistance for patients not covered by insurance, which greatly increases the quality of life for patients.

Works submitted should explore the human form acted on by an outside digital process. All mediums, including installations and performance art, will be considered. Artists applications are available online and require a $15 entry fee that can be be payed via check or online. A $500 stipend will be given to one artist in the pool to create art specifically for the exhibition.

You can submit to the show by simply downloading an application, attaching three high-resolution images, and sending them online to ([email protected]).

If you have a piece that is larger than 24 in. x 24 in. and you would still like to be considered under special circumstances please reach out via email. 

The deadline for submissions is September 15th, 2014, 12:00am.
