Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival Celebrates 36th Anniversary Season

From November 5 to 19, the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival will screen 33 films including 16 feature documentaries and nine narrative feature films in celebration of its 36th Anniversary Season.

The Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival’s mission is to celebrate Jewish identity, culture, history and community through the medium of film.

Viewers will join Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival’s film subjects as they engage in many aspects of the human experience: they will fight for human rights, tell edgy jokes, celebrate their Bar Mitzvah, sit shiva, fear deportation, solve murders, deny the Holocaust, hang their art in museums, direct movies, break with tradition, lift weights, discover their father's identity, prove they are Jewish, and much more.
