Philadelphia US Social Forum June 25-28

The third US Social Forum will take place in Philadelphia on June 25 to 28 at several sites on Temple University campus and along American St. The social forum is a convergence driven by the understanding that people's movements are what create real social change. It is an opportunity for regional and issue-specific social justice projects to work towards broader unity and cooperation. The Philadelphia USSF is currently being organized by the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign, Disabled In Action, and Youth United for Change. The Gender Justice Committee in conjunction with Bread & Roses and Coalition for Racial Justice will host a People's Movement Assembly that explores what Gender and Racial Justice looks like in our movements and organizations.
