Power Street Theatre Company Seeks Performers for Open Mic Garden Party

Theatre en Las Parcelas, presented by Power Street Theatre Company and ​Norris Square Neighborhood Project, seeks performers for their Open Mic Garden Party on August 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Las Parcelas community garden on 2248 N Palethorp Street (Rain date: Saturday, August 26). The event will be hosted by Christina May, and Gabriela Sanchez will offer a free salsa lesson. The theme is Layers of Liberation, and they are looking for people to share 2-4 minute performances of monologues, poetry, music, visual art, dance, storytelling, and more.
