Screening of Dostoevsky Behind Bars

Dostoevsky Behind Bars, a documentary in which prison inmates at a minimum-security prison and graduate students study literature together and talk about why what they’re doing matters, will be shown as part of the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival on June 26 at 11:00pm at The Plays and Players Theatre (1714 Delancey Pl). Watch the trailer here, and get tickets at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival website. The film, which premiered at the Wisconsin Film Festival, where it won a Gold Badger Award, is also an official selection of the Louisville International Film Festival, as well as the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival.
