Toni Kersey Exhibition in the Philadelphia International Airport

Toni Kersey (ACG '11, '07) will be exhibiting a series of mixed media fans and mirrors at the Philadelphia International Airport in Terminal D, August 1 through February 28, 2015. These objects are a foray into collage, painting and mixed media and a departure from the quilts most associated with her work. In her installation she attempts to give voice to the African American musicians who began their careers in the church and expanded their careers into blues and rhythm and blues, artists who are under represented for their historical contributions to popular music.
