7th Annual Juneteenth Festival in Chester is June 17

St. Daniel's Ray of Hope CDC in partnership with the City of Chester presents the 7th Annual Chester Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 17 in Memorial Park (2300 W. 7th Street) in Chester from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Peformances feature Scott Singers, Alfie Moss, Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble, Special Blendz (Together Again), and Raising Kane Band. Activities include The Proclamation (a one-act play), Juneteenth history presentations, a step show performance, Caribbean, gospel, R&B and jazz music, food and craft vendors, health fair, car show, basketball tournament, swimming, children's activities, clowns, face painting and more.
