Black Women's Pottery Workshop with Yinka Orafidiya

Yinka Orafidiya (WOO '18, ACG '10) will lead groups of Black women through free hands-on pottery making workshops in the gallery space at Temple Contemporary, September-October 2018. All self-identified Black women are invited to participate. Space is limited. Advanced registration required.

Yinka’s goal is to build community and connect Black women through a shared artistic experience in clay. Her “Crafting Community” project will culminate in a 3-mile drum processional from North Philadelphia to Old City, followed by a community celebration at the African American Museum in Philadelphia.
