Call for Queer Erotic Film, Performance, and Visual Art
Hot Bits is a queer erotic short film + arts festival taking place annually in Philly, Baltimore, and beyond curated by Eva WÇ’ (LTA '17), Heart Byrne, Wit López, Arazel Newman and TopShelf.
Hot Bits is a space to celebrate Queer/Trans and PoC pleasure, empowerment and self love. It is a platform to connect freaks and encourage making and sharing art both physically and on the internet. We want to to re-write the alienating categories defined by the mainstream commercial porn and sex industries of who/what is desirable + what desire can look like. We believe that erotic art holds the potential for uncovering the sexual self-determination necessary for fully liberated connection and healing.
We curate a range of erotic indie video works from soft to hardcore, as well as performance and visual arts. We encourage first-time filmmakers and DIY projects!
The festival will take place in Philly March 23-24th, 2018. Admission cost will be waived for all featured artists. Submission form and details on the website.
