Camae Ayewa (LTA '15, ACG '07) Receives 2019 Grant to Artists

The Foundation for Contemporary Art (FCA) announced their 2019 Grants to Artists recipients, including artists working in dance, music/sound, performance art/theater, poetry, and visual arts.  The eighteen awards, totaling $720,000, were announced on January 23 in ARTnews. These grants are supported by the generosity of a community of artists who believe in the importance of supporting pioneering work and experimental art forms. Camae Ayewa (LTA '15, ACG '07) is the only Philadelphia based artist in this year's cohort.

Our congratulations to Camae! Read her artist profile on FCA's website here.
