Free Holiday Pop-up Card workshop with Colette Fu

On Monday, December 15 join Colette Fu (LTA '13) for a free Holiday Pop-up Card workshop at Leeway Foundation (1315 Walnut Street, Suite 832) from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. All supplies will be provided but bring in any photos/artwork you might want to incorporate into a card. All levels welcome. Please RSVP here, space is limited. 

Colette Fu is a 2014 Leeway Transformation awardee. After receiving an MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Colette began devising opulent, complex compositions that incorporate photography and pop-up. Her most recent project "We are Tiger Dragon” is an extensive visual exploration of China’s ethnic minorities. Colette recently designed China’s largest (1 spread) pop-up book measuring 2.5 x 5 meters. She has also designed pop-ups for award winning stop motion animation commercials and freelanced for clients including Vogue China, Canon Asia and Moët Hennessy • Louis Vuitton. Her pop-up books are included in the Library of Congress, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the West Collection and many private and rare archive collections. Colette is also a passionate educator, who teaches pop-up courses and community workshops with marginalized populations at various art centers, universities and institutions nationally and internationally.
