Free Screening of "Firme y Feliz: Peruvian Women in Social Justice Movement"

Jasmine Rivera (ACG '14) screens her film Firme y Feliz: Peruvian Women in Social Justice Movements at PhillyCAM (699 Ranstead St.) on October 10 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Capturing firsthand the role of these Latinas, the film examines the historical context of Peru, the victories of these movements, what role women played, why they chose to become politically active and how the experience shaped their world perspective. Click here for more information.
