Julie Rainbow hosts Celebrate Black Love

Celebrate Black Love is an artistic tribute to the essence of black love, its endurance, devotion, and resilience. Through music, film, poetry, and storytelling, this multigenerational event will honor the many ways black history has borne witness to the willingness of love at all costs. September 19 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Historic Germantown (5501 Germantown Avenue).

Celebrate Black Love features a panel of couples speaking about healthy African American marriages, a discussion about Julie's research on African American couples married more than 30 years, and community dialogue.
