MamaCITA Biennial at Cheltenham Center for the Arts

MamaCITA Cooperative Biennial: Process
On view at Cheltenham Center for the Arts, February 10- March 6, 2019
Opening Reception: Sunday, February 10, 2-4PM

Every artist has curious viewers who ask– how did you make that? This MamaCITA exhibit will begin to answer the question by unveiling each artist’s creative process. What inspires you? How do you start? Do you ever get stuck? What’s behind the composition? What’s the role of collaboration and input? How much planning do you do?

“Process” will use a wide range of material to show the artist’s unique journey from idea to finished art.

The MamaCITA collective is Janice Hayes Cha, Brenda Howell, Julie Mann, Kimberly Mehler, and Karen Hunter McLaughlin (ACG '13, '11).
