Philadelphia Book Festival features Dismantle

Marissa Johnson-Valenzuela (ACG '12, LTA '05) editor of the new anthology Dismantle, will be reading along side, Mitchell S. Jackson and Cynthia Dewi Oka at the Philadelphia Book Festival. Dismantle is the first ever anthology of work from writers and teachers from the VONA/Voices Writing Workshop for writers of color. Founded in 1999, VONA has nurtured over 2000 writers. The anthology features an introduction by co-founder and award winning author Junot Diaz. The event will take place on April 17 at the Paschalville Library Branch (6942 Woodland Avenue) at 5:00pm.
