Sanctuary: A Migrant Poetry Showcase

Join Asian Arts Initiative for a showcase of poetry performances, featuring local poets and workshop participants of Sanctuary: A Migrant Poetry Workshop, organized by writer and activist Cynthia Dewi Oka (ACG '16), exploring questions of belonging, safety, and identity for (im)migrants in the wake of the 2016 presidential election through poetry arising from migrant traditions. The event will be held on April 7, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Asian Arts Initiative, 1219 Vine Street. Learn more.
