Tina Morton Shows When We Came Up Here at BlackStar Film Festival

Tina Morton’s (LTA '06, ACG '06, '05) short film When We Came Up Here is screening at BlackStar Film Festival as part of Scribe Video Center’s The Great Migration Project. When We Came Up Here is a digital tapestry combining audio recordings, with articles and advertisements offer a glimpse into the role the Philadelphia Tribune provided for newly arrived southern migrants. A series of short films including When We Came Up Here will screen at International House (3700 Chestnut St) on August 6 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. General admission is $12.
